Hours of Work: Call-in basis, Monday-Friday from September to June
Rate of Pay: Daily Rate: $23.28 per hour + vacation pay
Long-term Assignment Rate: $25.56 per hour + vacation pay
Permanent Rate: $25.56-$28.26 + pension and benefits
Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
Educational assistants support students with many diverse needs. This work provides support for the behaviour, safety, medical and physical needs of a student. Duties may include lifting, toileting, positioning and transferring children and equipment and application of Behaviour Management Systems (BMS) (training provided). Educational assistants support students both individually and/or in a group setting.
Availability to accept assignments on a casual basis during the day and with short notice.
