Rate of Pay: $294.68 daily rate, as of September 1, 2026.

The AMDSB is currently seeking teachers for our Secondary Occasional Teacher list. Secondary Occasional Teachers work in a variety of schools throughout the AMDSB Region (Perth and Huron Counties).
Whether you are seeking the flexibility provided by occasional teaching or opportunities to move into long-term assignments or permanent teaching positions, joining the Secondary Occasional Teaching list is a great first step.

If you are a current teacher candidate, please note that if you are recommended for the Occasional Teacher's List, you will be placed on the Secondary Emergency List until you are a Member in Good Standing with OCT.
